The family company has stood for the highest quality hygiene products since 1982. The private label manufacturer specializes in wet wipes, nursing pads and cosmetic care products. Nölken works according to an integrated management system and is certified according to the quality standard DIN EN ISO 9001: 2015, the environmental management standard DIN EN ISO 14001: 2009, the cosmetics GMP ISO 22716 and IFS HPC.

In 2019, the company generated sales of around 81 million euros. Around 400 people are employed at the two production sites in Windhagen, Germany, and Nowogrodziec, Poland.

In 2015 Nölken was named a “sustainable manufacturer” by the Consumer Initiative e.V. The manufacturer is a member of the United Nations Sustainability Program (United Nations Global Compact), Sedex (Supplier Ethical Data Exchange) and is actively involved in the Sustainable Palm Oil Forum (FONAP). The company is committed to society and environmental protection far beyond what is legally required.
