In its core business of medical products, KOB has been a development partner and manufacturer of elastic medical bandages and fabrics for leading brand suppliers worldwide for more than 115 years. KOB products are used as bandages for supporting, fixing and compressing as well as carrier fabrics and first-aid dressings. They are used in sports medicine & orthopaedics, phlebology & lymphology and in wound care. The textile, elastic carrier fabrics are used as medical active ingredient patches for pharmaceutical applications.

The company employs 1,240 people at six locations worldwide in development, sales, production and assembling. Textile production takes place in Wolfstein, Germany, and Coimbatore, India. The company has its headquarters in Wolfstein and is part of the HARTMANN GROUP in Heidenheim.
