ZEN Knee

The ZEN knee was developed in cooperation with our French partner and its surgeons. 

The ZEN Knee system by OHST is a total knee replacement. We offer currently a Mobile Bearing and a Fixed Bearing variant.

The name ZEN knee is originated from the Zen Buddhism. Zen is a state of calm attentiveness in which one's actions are guided by intuition rather than by conscious effort.

The philosophy behind this is based on the use of a unique surgical technique which adapts the implant to the needs of the patient. The innovative surgical technique is ligament balancing and bone sparing, which results in shorter recovery times for the patient.

The implant system was developed and tested according to the latest state of the art technology.
