Bruker is the leader in MALDI based microbial identification and the MALDI Biotyper is the worldwide recognized solution for extensive and routine usage in the microbiology laboratory. We are continuously broadening our offer for microbiologists with further complementary workflows based on the MALDI Biotyper as well as molecular technologies. Workflows for MBT include the fast MBT Sepsityper approach for direct positive blood culture analyses, subtyping applications, and resistance testing. First products of a comprehensive molecular portfolio are new multiplex PCR assays for targeted identification of selected fungal species, and for the fast detection of carbapenem gene families.
